Registration $35. All students are required to pay this fee and recital fee* once per year upon registration. Completed registration application/waiver release forms along with the registration and recital fee and first month's tuition will hold your child's place in class. Season Tuition Reflected as a Monthly Rate. 

 

Tuition is paid monthly:

Single Class $20 (new students receive 1 free trial class)

$70/month for 45 min each week
$80/month for 1 hour each week

$100/month for 2 hours each week

$125/month for 3 hours each week

$155/month for 4 hours each week

$195/month for unlimited hours each week
Registration fee $35

Returned Check fee $35

*Recital: $30 (includes 2 tickets, 2 programs, & end of year medal)

Additional programs will be available for purchase at the recital while supplies last.

Recital Ad Sales Policy: Every participating recreational student is required to sell 1 ad for the recital program (3 for competition team members).

Family Rate: 10% off tuition for each additional family member

 

 

Private Lessons:  Available upon request, $75.00 per hour.

Tuition Payments:  All payments are due the 1st of each month.  If payment is received after the 5th, a $15.00 late fee will be automatically added to your account. There is a $35 returned check fee for all returned checks.  All payments are either cash, credit, or check payable to Summerville Dance Academy.  After you submit your registration info you will receive a Square Invoice in your email. You will be able to make your first payment through that invoice and set up recurring payments. 

 

The total value of lost days due to holidays or holiday breaks has been considered and is reflected in the monthly tuition amount.  All fees & tuition are non-refundable.

 

ATTENDANCE/RECITAL/BAND APP: 

Makeup classes are allowed during the year in the appropriate level for your student.  Students are expected to arrive on time.  There are no discounts/refunds for classes missed due to illnesses, vacations, or injuries.  We follow Dorchester District II's holiday schedule for closures (Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Memorial Day). Our recital will be in June.  The date and venue will be announced. Registered students and parents can join our studio BAND app where you will see videos of classes after January when recital dances start being taught. Observation Policy:

To maintain a conducive learning environment for every student, observation of classes is not permitted. Distractions can impact the concentration and performance of the students, hindering their progress during the class. In addition to that, ensuring the safety and privacy of our young dancers is of utmost importance. Allowing external individuals, including parents, to observe classes poses potential safety risks and can compromise the privacy and comfort of our students.

Dress Code: 

All students are required to follow the dress code you are given at registration.  Part of the discipline of dance is coming to class, prepared and in the proper attire. Our dress code improves the quality of our student's education. By making dance wear simple and uniform, teachers can more clearly see student’s alignment and therefore make more accurate corrections regarding movements and positions.
